You have the right to control your personal information. You have full use of Cybercom.ie without giving us any personal information such as your name and an email address.
The only personally identifiable information Cybercom would hold, should you choose to supply them, would be your name and email address to receive email updates and RSS feeds from our blog. First and foremost, we do not sell or provide your information to anyone else.

To enhance your experience on our website, some of our web pages use "cookies." Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your email address or other personally identifiable information.
We use log files on Cybercom.ie in the same way as most standard web servers do. This includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We may use a tracking utility that uses log files to analyse user movement.
We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorised access, maintain data security, and correctly use the personal information we collect online in accordance with the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003.
If you sign up for email updates, Cybercom will hold your email contact details until you unsubscribe from our email updates. If Cybercom cease to send out email updates, we will delete your information from our records.
Under Section 4 of the Irish Data Protection Acts, a person has a right to be given a copy of his/her personal data (Right of Access). Under the Acts, a Subject Access Request should be in writing, and we may charge a fee not exceeding €6.35 and must reply to you within 40 calendar days.
We would like you to post any information requests to Rob Reid with a certified photocopy of your passport and/or driving licence. We will not charge you for this request and deal with it without delay.
