Nine awards for Cybercom at the 2010 APMC Awards!
A great start to the week for Cybercom this morning with the arrival of no less than 9 APMC Awards into the office, following the Gala Association of Promotional Marketing Consultants Award ceremony in the Westin Hotel on Friday night.
Cybercom client campaigns received a total of 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze awards. Our own 10 year birthday and corporate and social responsibility campaign www.myeverestchallenge.com received a total of 2 golds in the Best Social and Best Digital categories along with another silver award. The Powerade “Never Give Up ” campaign won gold and the best long term campaign. Other clients awarded included Diageo for Guinness 250 and Hurling campaigns; and Coca Cola for the 2009 eBoy campaign.
As always at this time we wish to recognised the fact that great clients offer great creative opportunities and result in great campaigns. Cybercom simply facilitates the magic. The 9 APMC awards now sit proudly alongside the 9 Digital Media Awards already received this year, and 40 delighted and even more motivated Cybercom marketeers are seen to buzz around the office today!
Finally, Karma came to the fore on Friday night, after the week that went before it, with one great campaign, created and delivered by numerous great creative minds, acknowledged as the overall Grand Prix campaign winner. The Westin ballroom erupted with industry peers standing to applaud and acknowledge the great work delivered by all those at McConnells Integrated for the Oxfam Let’s Face it campaign. It was great to observe and be a part of the collective industry delight for this year’s Grand Prix winning agency, particularly for one who had delivered such a great cause related promotional campaign.
Next stop on the awards trail is the Marketing Institute of Ireland, All Ireland Marketing Awards, with presentations and judging tomorrow!
