It really helps when you are a newcomer to online marketing to take an online marketing course to keep from getting quickly discouraged.

Hi Bill

Thanks for the comment. I think you may have misunderstood the line

"best performing PPC Ad Groups is a great way to optimize websites organic listings”.

We are not stating PPC performance has any bearing on your organic listing. But, the new data in "Search Queries" gives you an indication of your organic CTR. Webmasters should be looking at their organic listing in the same way they would do a PPC listing i.e. the Page Title & Meta Description should not just be about keywords, but it should sell the click to a user.

PPC is the best research tool you have available. Not only will it tell you what keywords perform best in terms of conversions. But it will highlight what ad copy receives the best CTR. You can then use this information and optimise your organic listing accordingly.

Any other questions, please ask.

I've been intrigued with this concept of 'Personalization' and the more I read the more I am getting cheezed.

I landed on this blog page and read the last phrase of the opening statement. "...best performing PPC Ad Groups is a great way to optimize websites organic listings"

I say whaaa. If this is indeed what is happening, then Google has found the grail in making revenues on both fronts with Adwords and what was earned through SEO sweat, organic listings.
